You may use the site for personal or professional purposes to discover and attend local business events. You may not use the site to scrape data at scale, submit false or misleading event information, impersonate another person or organization, or engage in any activity that disrupts or harms the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use cookies and analytics tools on the site, and by using the site you also accept it.

These terms cover every part of the service: this website, our city and Edition calendars, our newsletters and emails, our streaming event channels and screens, our mobile app, and our social media posts. Channels and screens cannot show every detail, so they direct you to the calendar, where the full listing and these terms are available.

Event information on this site is aggregated from public sources and submitted by third parties. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event listings. Always verify event details directly with the organizer before attending. Local Business Calendars is not affiliated with meetup.com, Eventbrite, Facebook, LinkedIn, or any organizations whose events are listed. We are an independent platform providing event information only.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Featuring an event, showing it as a Spotlight, or displaying a partner does not mean we endorse that event, its host, the partner, or their products or services. Listing an event also does not mean its host endorses or is affiliated with Local Business Calendars. Partners are identified as partners wherever they appear.

We do not organize, host, or supervise the events listed. Each event is run by its host, who is solely responsible for it, including its content, venue, safety, pricing, and any change or cancellation. Attending any event is at your own discretion and risk.

Registration, tickets, and payments are handled by the event host or by third-party websites, not by us. We do not sell tickets or issue refunds, and we are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any outside website we link to.

By submitting an event to Local Business Calendars, you represent that you have the right to share the event information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submitted events are reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any event listing at our sole discretion. Submitting an event does not guarantee publication.

Submitting also gives us permission to publish those details — the event name, description, date and time, location, and host organization — on our websites, in our newsletters, and on our social channels. The same applies to organization listings submitted or claimed through this site. You keep ownership of everything you send us; this is simply permission to list it. Ask us to update or remove a listing at any time and we will.

We do not charge fees for standard event listings. Partner placements, if offered, are clearly identified.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Local Business Calendars and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any event information listed. This includes but is not limited to missed events, travel expenses, or any loss arising from inaccurate event details.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim, which in most cases will be zero as the service is free.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you have questions about any change, contact us before continuing to use the service.
