How Local Business Calendars Works

Local Business Calendars is a free weekly calendar of upcoming business events, and the organizations behind them, for professionals in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Houston. We track networking mixers, chamber luncheons, technology meetups, real estate gatherings, small business workshops, and more.

Instead of checking dozens of websites, Facebook groups, and Eventbrite pages, you can find them organized in one place, updated every week.

Each city has its own calendar page:

At the top of every city page you can get the free city calendar, or browse first by date (this week's events, day by day) or by organization (the groups hosting events and what they have coming up). Pick a city from the "Cities" menu at the top of any page.

Every city calendar also has four Editions, focused calendars for one part of the business community:

• Technology Edition — tech meetups, startup and innovation events • Real Estate Edition — realtor, investor, commercial real estate and building-industry events • Chambers Edition — chamber of commerce events, ribbon cuttings, luncheons and mixers • Small Business Edition — workshops, entrepreneur groups and networking events

When you're on a city page, open the "Editions" menu at the top to jump to one.

Anyone can browse the calendar. A free account adds:

• Full event details and registration links • Organization profiles, with each group's website, contact information, and upcoming events • The free weekly newsletter, in your inbox every Monday at 6 AM

It's completely free. No credit card. To create one, click "Join Free" in the top right corner of any page.

Events are grouped by day. Once you're logged in, use the Previous and Next buttons to move through the week one day at a time, or type in the search box to find an event, organization, or topic.

Each event shows the date and time, the hosting organization, the location, and whether it's free or paid. Under each event:

• View Event — opens the organizer's own event page for the latest details and registration • Add — saves the event to your calendar (Google, Apple, or Outlook) • Share — copies a link so you can send the event to a colleague

We always link to the organizer's original page, so you get the most current information straight from the source.

Further down each city page is a list of the organizations that have upcoming events: chambers, associations, networking groups, and business alliances. It isn't the full directory, just who's active right now, and it updates as new events are added.

Filter by category to narrow the list. Each card shows the organization's next event. Click a card to open its profile, with the group's description, website, contact information, and all of its upcoming events.

Have an event that should be on the calendar? Submit it for free.

We review every submission and add qualifying business and professional events. Click "Submit an Event" in the menu at the top of any page.

Local Business Calendars is free to use because Community Partners help cover the cost of running it. You'll see them in the "Made possible by our community partners" section on each city page.

Partnerships are offered city by city. You can partner with the city calendar (City Calendar Partner) or partner with a calendar edition (Calendar Edition Partner): the single partner position on one of that city's four Calendar Editions. Both include recognition on the full calendar and in the weekly newsletter, plus your own branded landing page, calendar and newsletter for your audience. Open the "Partners" menu to see who supports the calendar, or choose "Become a Partner" to learn how to join them.

Premium members now log in right here on this site. Click "Login", choose "Premium member?", and sign in with the email address on your membership. You'll go straight to your premium calendar.
